World of Warcraft private servers....

Hey I play on the wowscape private servers for world of warcraft and was wondering if anyone else plays on private servers and if you do which one because no other servers but the wowscape servers work for me:p

Aren't private servers illegal?

Yep sure are.

But before an admin locks this thread i would like to say that even though private servers are illegal, blizzard should be thinking that they are at least making them some sort of money because,

#1 they have to buy either a copy of WoW or a $2 Demo Disc.

#2 Free Word of Mouth, if someone brings one of these to a lan party and gets the non-MMO players going at it then its likely that if they like it they will buy it.

#3 No Lost Profits. The people that use these either would not or could not afford the monthly fees anyway so whats the issue. i look at private servers the same way i look at homebrew, they hate it but its good for business at the same time.

It's illegal because the official server is still running.

Its fun....I bought the demo disc yeah so blizzard enjoy your 2 bucks...
