The Sony PSP is such a hot item at the moment that theives everywhere must have their eye on them. And this combined with a moment of forgetfulness could mean your PSP is gone forever. Worry not - the Freedom Keepsafe has been designed to prevent theft and loss of your prize posession.
Protect your Sony PSP with the Freedom Keepsafe
You get two parts to this system - one that you keep in your pocket or bag, and one that you attach to your valuable item - in this case the Playstation Portable. When the two parts of the device are seperated by 6 metres, they let out a high pitched alarm. Sounds useful - but when you think about it, this may not help you with theft. If someone grabs it in a busy street, 6 metres is a long way. I can see it helping if you leave your PSP on a park bench, but if you get pickpocked, you may have to wave goodbye to your PSP and half of your Freedom Keepsafe.

a psp is about $250+ right? some thieves will mug for $5, hurt people for less. Some will steal identities. When it comes to a portabe console worth possibly half someone's rent, yeah there'll be dodgers out on it. If this is out, there will be strong probabilty that a lock breaker or some sort of fast break mechanism will be out on the black market so people can also rip the alarm off, or disble it electronically.

Ionno even it if does make a noise how many people have the balls enough to jump out and stop the person runing off with it?

well thieves will have trouble nikking mine. IT AINT HERE YET!!!
more seriously i would pouince on them to get it back (not saying i would return it to its owner like).
I assume the part attached to the PSP gives off the noise so you can follow it.
