Nintendo World hosting Wii U launch event in NYC

The Wii U and celebrations are courtesy of Nintendo World's launch event in New York City, starting at 6PM on November 17.

The nightmares are courtesy of "Mii costumed characters" stalking the event.

Fans waiting in line will get exclusive bonus items, and Nintendo will sell New York-themed Mario shirts to benefit the Red Cross. Also, you may actually have a chance to buy a Wii U, which seems like a rare event on launch day.
