Samsung claims iPad Mini infringes patents

Samsung has added the iPad Mini to the list of Apple products that allegedly infringe its patents.
According to The Verge, the manufacturer has issued a court filing asking that the latest device be added to the list of infringing product in an ongoing court case.
The iPad Mini will be judged alongside the iPod Touch and the iPad in a case due to be held later this year.
Earlier this year, Apple won a similar lawsuit in the US courts and was awarded $1 billion in damages. However, results in this type of lawsuit seem to vary depending on which country the case is being held in, as a similar case fought in the UK resulted in a ruling against Apple.
