so, i have a 2.81 psp, and yes, i know about the 3.03 downgrader, but the thing is that my umd drive doesn't work. so i was thinking if i could trade my psp's motherboard with my brother's psp, and downgrade it with his working umd drive. is that possible?
Or you can just swap PSP's. What firmware does your Bro have

psh, my brother would never swap psps, he has 3.03 OE-C
If you did swap Motherboards you will have the OE C and he will have the 2.81
That's a shame, then. You'll probably just have to wait for a GTA-less downgrader if the UMD drive doesn't work. How did it break anyway?Quote:

They sell replacement UMD drives on Ebay. Just buy yourself a new one.
