Rayman Jungle Run named Apple’s iPhone game of the year; The Room wins best iPad game

Ubisoft auto-runner Rayman Jungle Run has been named iPhone game of the year by Apple. Fireproof Games’ locked box puzzler The Room, meanwhile, was named iPad game of the year.Terry Cavanagh’s masterful Super Hexagon was runner up to Rayman, with Rudolf Kremers’ Eufloria the iPad runner-up. In the UK, anyway: in the US the iPad runner-up was Waking Mars, developed by Tiger Style Games, home to Edge columnist Randy Smith.
