my new faceplate just came in. its the XCM chrome Smooth As Silk faceplate from modschipstore.com . the installation was really easy. all the buttons work fine, though the d-pad isnt as sensitive as it was.

yeah, it looks nice and all but, guess what... is the backplate cool????
its not like real platinum. its like a chrome paint or finish or something.
