DCEmu Big Change Is Coming

Anyone who visits us reguarly will have noticed that our CMS is down and out and has been for near on a week, whilst the CMS was great it tripled the amount of time to post newsposts. Our own exploitation of VB External does a better and far faster job and should stop a lot of the errors and also even if theres a database fault VBexternal carries on which is kinda cool.

We are going to heavily condense the forums, the news forums will be on their own and the discussion forums will be moved around, all forums will be accessible from the main forum page.

As for DCEmu itself, www.dcemu.co.uk will carry all our news, all subdomain sites will be redirected to the main url, but say for example you want only PSP/PSvita news youll go to http://www.dcemu.uk/psvita-psp-news.php or something similiar. On pages like that youll have links to all the pages that were on the older sites. This will carry on for all sites bar Chuis site.

The project will take around a month to 2 months but should be the best thing we have ever done to the site and bringing all the subdomains back means google wont get funny with us for having duplicate content and also strengthen our page rank etc.

It will also mean that News will not be in any of the discussion forums which does annoy folks.
