how to resize bit map pics

i was wondering if there is a program that will resize bit map pics i am trying to make my own 01-12.bmp and some of the pics are to big i need them to be 60x34 and a few of the ones i have are 250x142 can some one please give me a link to a program that will resize the pic for me :(

Microshaft Paint can do it. it should come pre-installed on all Windows computers.

also you can use a free program i recently was directed to called Gimp.

I use photoshop for resizing picture amog other things
