Westerners get exclusive Animal Crossing: New Leaf feature

The Animal Crossing: New Leaf Iwata Asks was originally published in Japanese in October, but the recent English translation has revealed an exclusive feature for the Western release.

interview has revealed that North American and European versions of Animal Crossing: New Leaf will have Nintendo-created homes available via SpotPass."In the North American version of the game," Iwata says, "model homes created by Nintendo will also appear in the HH Showcase. These homes will be distributed via SpotPass."The European translation also confirmed this feature would be available.The Happy Home Showcase is a plaza to meet other players and visit model homes. Those in North America and Europe will have the opportunity to visit model homes created by Nintendo.Last week the Animal Crossing: New Leaf Tourism Trailer was released, in anticipation for its June release in the US, Europe and Australia.
