Apple reportedly stops Mac component orders

DigiTimes has reported that Apple has stopped placing component orders for its Mac series, leaving suppliers in the dark over when they will resume.
“Suppliers expected to finish digesting their Mac inventories in April, but are new stranded waiting for further instructions from Apple,” revealed sources from the upstream supply chain.
Apple usually gives suppliers a shipment forecast for the upcoming quarter, but the company has not provided a shipment forecast for Q2, concerning some supplier who worry that the shipments may not resume until late May.
