ta-082 upgrade to 2.80?

i have a psp ta-082 with 2.71 firmware, and i need to have it upgraded to 2.80 so i can then downgrade it. I have searched for a while and can not find an update for 2.80. Does anyone know a safe way to upgrade to 2.80 from 2.71, on a Ta-082? I was going to try network update, but I think that updates to the highest available version, not 2.80.


Sorry if I am a little bit unclear, i am new to the whole PSP thing.

go to psp hacks and look for the ta802 downgrader

where can i find psp hacks at? sorry i'm really slow :P

get this one its the easy downgrader from csfreakno1 http://dl.qj.net/TA-082-Easy-Downgra...2267/catid/114 just run the .exe file with psp connect to pc and will put all the files in the right place for you then just follow the read me.l
