Ubisoft confirms new Oblivion PS3 date

Ubisoft has confirmed with CVG that April 27 is the new release date for Oblivion on PS3, in the wake of yesterday's news on retailers notifying of a delay.

Originally, the latest version of Bethesda's role-playing game was expected to launch alongside Sony's console on Friday here in the UK and Europe.

No official reason for the delay has been given. We guess it just wasn't ready in time. Ubisoft also took the opportunity to point us in the direction of a new Oblivion PS3 website.
