US VC updates could do better

Avid VC punters don't have much to get excited about this week, with the only game uploaded to the US Wii Shop being an obscure Chinese-themed strategy game called Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire.

You take control of a Chinese commander and do battle in this strategy war game with the aim of uniting three kingdoms.

Sounding a bit like Advance Wars or Fire Emblem, you control a range of different units, each with their own abilities.

Now, we don't expect grade-A games on the Virtual Console every single week, but given that this is the FOURTH game in a series we've never even heard of, you'll be forgiven if you don't jump with joy this week.

Hopefully, the UK update coming this Friday will have something a little more appealing.

God, i wish they'd come out with Super Metroid for VC. That availability would sell the classic controller for me.
