WTF Does it mean when an ipod video is in Disk Mode?

and all it says is ready to disconnect?

while on the topic of video ipod modes.
what is the point of diagnostic mode.

its when it views it as a device, you can browse it through file explorer.

you can also plug it in ps3 then too.

when it says don't disconnect your fine to aslong as your not transfering.

Mine says Ok to disconnect after its disconnected, and it says its in disk mode. How do I take it out of disk mode?

Try reseting the ipod. Hold the center and menu button simultaneously for around maybe 10 seconds. Thats what the official apple site says to do.

That just checks to see if the iPod is working properly.
(ex: ac plug, usb, scroll/click wheel and buttons)
