I downloaded the Fenix 0.84 and Fenix Desktop pack. When I go to File->New I get this error. It says:
"Assertion Failure (c:\archivos de programa\borland\delphi5\Compontentes\SynEdit\Sour ce\SynTextDrawer.pas, line 742)"
What is that? I can't use the editor because of it? Am I missing something or is it just poor programming?
Hmm... that's a weird one. Are you running Windows XP or 2000? If so, you can always download Flamebird, which has come out since I created my Fenix -> DC tutorial. It's an IDE with more features than Fenix Desktop. You can get it at http://www.flamingbird.com. Just click the Downloads link in the left column. Good luck!
where is your Fenix -> DC tutorial?
There is also a very, very good GUI for Fenix called Firebird (you can found it at http://fenix.divsite.net/fichaproj.php?id=2), the only problem with that is that i think that is in spanish only. Atari, your tutorial page is http://www.atarikee.com/fenix isn't it?
Thanks. One more quick question. Does Fenix 0.84b work on Dreamcast or only the one on Atari's site?
fenix 0.84b release is broken, so i don't think that they'll port another version to the dc until 0.84c comes out
