PSP web browser broken (???) need help

Hi all i have been to this forums for quite some time now...and the search option has always been a good friend for information, be it for solving problems or to answer simple questions

but this time i am clueless:confused: :confused:
my browser does not work anymore on my firmware 3.03oe then i updated to 3.10oe still no go
my last hope was the new 3.30oe but its still not working
whenever i open the open(or at least try) blue screen appears and is telling me: "Setting informtion is corrupted. Press O button to repair and restore default settings":mad:

does anyone know about this issue???:confused:

Actually, its because the old registry format is no longer compatible, and it isn't converted like it would be if it was a Sony update.

but wasn't is a way to brick your psp in older oe firmwares when you attempted to restore default settings???
