Nokia tired of waiting for Microsoft to 'get it right'

Nokia VP of App development, Bryan Biniak has revealed that the firm is frustrated at Microsoft’s slow Windows Phone progress.
In an interview with International Business Times, Biniak has expressed that Nokia is getting a little tired of Microsoft’s slow progress when it comes to applications for its Windows Phone devices, implying that the company has started to take matters into its own hands. "As a company we don't want to rely on somebody else and sit and wait for them to get it right."
Biniak told the publication about his concerns that consumers will be less willing to adopt new phones if Microsoft takes too long porting over the right apps. "We are releasing new devices frequently and for every new device, if there is an app that somebody cares about that's not there that's a missed opportunity of a sale.
“You can't sell a phone without the apps, you just can't."
Nokia recently released its latest flagship smartphone, the Lumia 1020, as well as its new budget 4G Windows smartphone, the Lumia 625.
