M3 DS Question.

I was researching today and came apon this and need some help.

I need to know if this will allow me the same options as if my DS were flashed. Also can it flash, and if I have this, does my DS 'need' to be flashed. If I were to want this, would I need anything else to play ALL of my backups flawlessly or would this alone work? Yes my objective is to mainly play my backup ds games, and also home brew without fail. I have come to see that this MMD is very very limited and barely plays most of my backups. So please help me out.

You won't need to have it flashed, no. Nearly all slot-1 devices contain built-in NoPass functionality and don't require FlashMe, the only exception I know of being the DSLink
