No, what He's saying is that you should be careful of what you run from your memory stick. If you're a bit dubious of it, then don't run it.

As with firmware on all devices, PSPs, GP32s and even your PC. You can end up with a dead system if you flash it with the wrong or bad version.

Also it's possible that some mallicious idiot who has cracked the SDK to produce something, pass it off as a game or emu, that writes rubbish like FFFs to your firmware killing your PSP.

So be sure you know what you're running before launching anything like EBOOT.PBP from your memory stick.
