Seems like the project is back, luckily for us Dreamcast Fans :), heres the scoop from the homepage:
The GR-Team is stil alive, no need to worry. We got a couple of bug reports that the levelcodes from level 26 and higher do not work. We apologize for that. Currently we are recoding the whole game from scratch again, for higher portability. Stay tuned for more news...

Thank goodness. I really hope something gets done with this game. It really is one of the most promising homebrew games I've seen in a long time.
