psp-290 HELP !!!!!!!!!!

hi,

i just bought a psp-290 gps receiver. now i don;t know what to do. i am on 3.03 OE-C firmware. I am in the UK. I tried to use "map this" but whenever i load "map this" .... it comes to a blue screen with this msg:
"loading usb application module.... error". then it doesn't do anything and i have to restart my psp.

turn off your PSP, turn it on and hold right trigger, then go into configurations and change the kernel to 3.03. this should fix it
