Final Fantasy VII issue

I copied the first disk of FF7 to my psp and it seemed to work fine, until I had a battle where I was attacked with a sleep spell, and as soon as that is done, the screen turns to a static green color and it pretty much jammed up. I found this to happen on most battles that have an animation. I have reset the game, recopied it to my card, but I can't seem to find what is causing this. Any help will be appreciated much.

Try running it with the 3.10 pop. I had that problem with my 3.30OE until i got popsloader working.
