I got a new black dslite at target and I'm playing resident evil ds and is it normal for the ds to have poor viewing angle? because since the game is dark I got to hold the ds just right to see good.
Also how would I know if i got the newest revision, I heard something about newer ones dont break in the hidges or something?

To answer you original question tg, the DSlite is supposed to be much brighter. The only things I can possibly suggest is playing in a darker enviroment and check your brightness settings on the DS. In the bottom left I believe is a brightness toggle, if you adjust that all the way up it should help.
even if you do its impossible to play it in the light, i don't know why.
