Preparing scanned .png maps for MapThis

Hello,

I would like to ask if (how) it is possible to adjust a normal scanned paper map (in .png or .bmp format) for navigation use with MapThis.

Can you tell me please some basic steps I must do?

i think u can do it with the GMDL program. u can import the image into it and then export as gpsfs files or as many diff pngs. i know u can use custom images though, not exactly sure how. but its something like that. but i know its in the GMDL program.
