How is it in New York

I'm going to New York in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if anyone there has had a problem with sky scrapers blocking signals to the ground.

I know I'll be SOL on the subway, But I'd at least like to be able to set some way points and get back to them on foot.

Also, how long is battery life with the PSP-290?

I get 5-6 hours with 290 attached and 222 clock

The 290 was terrible in New York. It was a clear day but maybe the buildings, or electro magnetic interference prevented me from getting a lock. The subway map provided with the program was good help though. But once I was on the subway a couple times it was a no brainer and I didn't use the program much. By the way New York is awesome.
