Finally able to get the program to work..! But got question again. Which usbgps n usbacc shld i be using? There seems to be so many around and although the program did work but it alwayz hang after a few mins. Wonder why...
well it depends, on what you got. do you have a gps accessory yet? you can do what I did and get the psp-290 off of ebay for about 70 dollars.

since you're using 3.40oe-a you need a 3.40 prx. do a search on usbgps.prx you will find the thread and tutorial on getting the correct one.Quote:

having another problem yet again... *sob* after i added POIs to my map...my mapThis will just hang at the "Please wait while map is loading" screen at the subsequent start ups...
have tried deleting the whole thing away and recopying the files over - works if i just do normal map viewing but when i add POIs the problem comes back again...
have tried adding "_" in front of all my map names too but it doesn't help at all...
anyone can help???
findings..! after playing around with the maps again and again i realised something - my MapThis can only work when i DUN add _ in front of my maps.
found out abt this coz i realise after i added POIs into my map, there'll be a file _My_POIs created in the maps folder. And when i start my MapThis again, there will only be tis "MY POIS" option on the menu for me to choose...n thus when i click on it...the whole thing will freeze.
can any experts pls tell me what to do so that i can solve this problem? really really hope i can get some advise... =(
help anyone? pls...
have you turned your cpu speed down?
sometimes that helps i guess
