ta-082

I have a 2.71 ta-082 that i downgraded to 1.5 than up to 3.03oe-c. I just got my gps-290 unit in the mail and installed "mapthis" several different ways. In 1.5 kernel in the game150 folder. In my game303 folder in 3.03 kernel. I even ran the usbhostfix. Everytime every way i get the the blue screen that says "error loading usb module.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have also noticed that i may have to get two .prx files. which do i need and if someone could elaborate on how i need to use them that would be sweet!

furthermore where can i find this "keyfix"?

ok i've got the prx files for my 3.03 firmware...the tut says put the in a folder, but i'm assuming you dont leave the in that folder when you put the into the "mapviewer" folder. When I load the program now with the gps 290 unit connected it just sits at "loading usb accessory module..." I'm guessing it is has frozen or is just super slow.

alright well i've got 3 sats acquired but it doesnt lock on one of them. does the little program lock automatically? and what version is the best for the gps 290?

HOLY SHIT after turning the cpu speed to 111 the little unit picked up and locked on to 5-7 sats. And it located me perfectly on my map of seattle.

i just wanted to be as detailed as possible. That way someone who reads what i've been doing is up to date. all of the threads that i read seemed to lack certain details so i just had to make sure you all had them! however i still have a couple of questions. What is the best version of mapthis to use for the gps290? i'm currently using 0461S. And, any tips for using the gmdl? on the first map i made i forgot to include the geodata so i'm going to redo it.
