get black screen when play my games

i am runnning a 3.40 ea but when i load the games it just turns black and turns off so yeah help please:thumbup:

do you get the boot screen??? you know the whole

PSP with the fancy colors and the
dundun sound

do you have any plugins on?

I currently have this problem starting a few hours ago, I updated the firmware from Valkyrie Profile and then as soon as it was finished it went black. Now whenever I turn it on it has a blank screen for about 10 seconds then turns itself off. Can anyone offer any assistance at all?
