I am running 3.10 oe-a and have been since i got into all the homebrew/emu scene.
With updates of firmware coming out all the time which is best?
Whats the big differences between them?
I would update if i find out i'm missing out on some thing cool.
currently it's all based on opinion.
3.40oe created by DAX
and
3.51m33 created by team m33 aka "the Russian coders"
basically they both have almost the same features. but they both have their own little bugs.
DAX's 3.40oe is a little older but on the other hand DAX has made plenty of custom firmwares so most people would say his firmwares are more reliable.
3.51M33 is the newest firmware created by an new group of coders. It is very similar to OE type firmwares and it is has the latest sony firmware.
In terms of your 3.10oe It's more unstable than both 3.40oe and 3.51m33 not to mention out of date. So I recommend you get something newer
3.40 OE!

Go to 3.40oe until this whole situation sorts itself out. It shouldn't take that long.....I hope?
get 3.40 oe-a untill a new custom firmware reigns supreme i dont see any need to go to the russian one yet im very happy with 3.40oe-a and theres another custom firmware in the works to :)

just a quick question but can i just run the 3.40 oe firmware onto my psp over my 3.10oe-a or do i have to take it back to 1.5 or something?
Yes you can run over from 3.10OE
