Upgrade a TA-082 v3.40 OE to 3.51?

Yes, I know it's a strange question, BUT, is it possible to take my TA-082 mobo running v3.4 OE and upgrade back to official Sony Firmware? The reason I ask is because at some point in the future I may need to make the change (no seriously - I would consider it if Gran Tourismo comes out and requires 3.51)...

So, does anyone in the collective know please?

you could upgrade to this new 3.51 M66. Moreover if such a popular game comes out, which is not supported by the newest custom firmware, many people will work on a hack/patch etc.
