How do I get multiplayer Doom running?

Would someone be able to give me step by step instructions on how to get Doom 0.06 running 2 players over ad-hoc? I start both PSPs off in multiplayer mode from the menu, but they both hang while loading.

I've read the readme file but couldn't make much sense from it.

On both PSPs make sure its on the same channel!

make sure it is the same ver. of app you are using!
