PS1 Modding

I was thinking about modding my PS1, but I really don't know anything about electronics besides the basics. If anyone knew any PSX modding sites, or had any tuts I'd love to see em.

I was also thinking about painting it, anyone know how I should go about it, like what kind of paint, how many layers, etc.

Don't really know about PS1 modding, looked inside mine once, looks fairly simple the PSU has nice places to solder to.

About painting just use lots of very thin layers, and perhaps sand lightly first.
