Okay, I went out and got another PSP to fiddle dick around with, and its PSP Version 2.6. It was the lowest version the place had. Okay, what custom firmware am I able to put on it so I can run emulators? Do I have to downgrade? I don't have GTA, so I hope not. Someone please give me some good news :P

You're in luck. You don't need an external game (GTA or Lumines) since you're in a low firmware.

You can upgrade to 2.80 and then downgrade to 1.50 using Team Noobz's downgrader.
