PSP Slim: PSOne backlight bug?
Is anyone else having this strange problem?
With many PSOne games (both downloads from the PlayStation Store and POPS), I run into this strange issue where the PSP's backlight will be reset to its dimmest setting while a game is running, usually during loading segments (like going from the menu into gameplay, and back out).
The two games that have been the worst are Jet Moto (PS Store download) and Gran Turismo (POP). In both games, the backlight will often go dim after a race when the game loads the menus back up.
This happened both on official firmware (with a PS Store game) and 3.60 M33 (with both the PS Store and POP games).
I have all "power save" options turned off, so that's not the issue. And it doesn't happen with real PSP UMDs, PSP ISOs, or any other emulator I use. Only PSX games.
Is ANYONE else having this happen to them?
