then download the boot menu and read the read me you can find the boot menu file by searching for pandora boot menu on forums.qj.net
Yes it will work on a 4 gig.
You shouldn't keep them in a separate folder, in case you brick and have no access to a card reader.
Read the instructions about the boot menu's, they explain it clearly.

Ok, so why are people saying that it won't work on a 4 gig? Because of the problems that previous firmwares were having with them?
