Ok now im stuck....HELP!!!

i have a datel tool battery, i know it needs the magic memory stick what do i need to get the magic stick thing? Oh, is there a program for windows the changes the normal mem stick to the magic one?
i broke my psp and it is now 3.71 OFW!!!!

is the "kernal" they talk about custom fw or offical?
