Supercard DS one SDHC

Hello,
I am completely new to the scene and a friend recommended me to get a 'Supercard DS one SDHC'.

So I've been reading up a bit about that card and also came over some rumors/complaints.

Is it true that this Slot-1 solution needs a very-high-speed MicroSD card? (Read something about white-screen problem with slow cards)

What cards are generally recommended for this device?

For the SCDS, a Japanese-made Kingston or Toshiba card is recommended. Once you get the right speed card, the SCDS is very usable, with several features found nowhere else or on only a few other devices (in-game FAQ reader is exclusive, slow-motion feature shared with CycloDS Evolution, homebrew soft-reset is exclusive, etc).
