"draw path" help

I was playing with the "draw route" feature
(in map mode [x] then [O] then [O] ... to draw a
path).
Is it possible to save the path in some way or is it
just a draw-and-go-then-forget feature?

I did a search in the forum but I did not find anything
about this...

I think saving a path drawn by hand could be an interesting
and useful "ufficial" feature of mapthis!
