hey guys... read this (psp slim problem)

psp slim died on me today on my job for no reason... i thought my battery died on me cause i basically check the time in it so.. i didnt care... got home( two hours ago.....) i let it charge for 5 mins... when i returned i turned on my psp yet again nothing happened ok. so now i tried to get it on changing the battery with pandora auto on set up.. nothing happened... yet again when i plug my psp unto the charger the orange led lights up yet it dies not turn on at all.....
what could it be???? it might be the carbon strip??? or the board itself????
help who ever is a tech on such new psp device
( i opened it already so i ruined the warrenty crap)
