How Can I Extract Text From A Rom?

I'm looking to extract the text from the game Sprung. The dialogue is pretty funny and I was interested in all the different twists the scenarios can take.

I opened up the nds file in a hex editor and some of the text is visible. However, it's all mixed up. Is there any way to put it in order?

I also used dslazy to unpack the rom but all I got was 1 file: filesystem.bin

Opening that doesn't help me much. I can't seem to open that to see the file tree.

I apologize if all that didn't make much sense. I am completely new to this stuff.

To sum it up basically I can see all/some of the text when it's viewed in a hex editor but the order is all mixed up. The scenes seem to be initiated by some dia extension of some sort but I can't locate the individual files.

Is there anything I can do? Or am I stuck just playing each scenario out?
