Welcome to this week's Games & Toys update, our weekly summary featuring all new product arrivals from the last seven days.

It's the last week of the year and traditionally also the time when the last Japanese gaming highlights of the year will be published, right on time for the Japanese new year holiday season. Most Japanese companies will have a long holiday during the first one or two weeks of the year, resulting into fewer releases the next two weeks.

Top selling game this week has been Banpresto's Super Robot Taisen OG: Original Generations Gaiden (Japanese / Asia / Asia Limited) for PlayStation2™, followed by Star Ocean: The First Departure (Asia / Japanese / Eternal Edition) for PSP™.

Further hot selling releases have been Gundam Musou International (Asia / Japanese) for Xbox360™, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (US Version), Metal Slug Complete and Nodame Cantabile: Dream * Orchestra for Nintendo Wii™ as well as Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku for PSP™.

Popular US version arrivals have been THQ's Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command for Nintendo DS™ as well as the multi platform release MX vs ATV: Untamed.
