Creative Releases PlayDock MP3 for iPod

Cambridge SoundWorks has introduced the PlayDock MP3, a transportable speaker system that lets users of select MP3 players bring full amplified sound to any location.

With its compact, transportable design, PlayDock MP3 features a convenient dock for select MP3 players, including the Creative Zen Micro, Apple iPod or iPod mini, and Dell DJ and Pocket DJ.

The PlayDock MP3 features an extended life rechargeable battery that lasts for up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. PlayDock MP3 is available for US$199.99 at Cambridge SoundWorks retail locations.

Using Cambridge SoundWorks' three-driver amplified speaker design, PlayDock MP3 promises to deliver sound quality normally associated with larger stereo systems. Packing a central bass speaker between full range speakers for each stereo channel, PlayDock MP3 delivers a wide frequency.

With the PlayDock MP3 just plug in your Zen Micro or other MP3 player and press the play button. PlayDock MP3 can also charge select players while they are docked.
