usbhost question/request

okay so i saw the video of the "ipod/psp hack" from www.acidmods.com (http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index....3380.msg102264)
and i know the ipod and psp are usb clients not hosts... but i do know you can use usbhostfs with irshell to get access to the hdd on a PC. so i have a couple questions...
1. does usbhostfs run on linux?
2. if so can you compile it to run on an original xbox running linux/evolutionX/or xbmc (xbox media center)?
3. if not... how hard would it be to recompile the usbhostfs file in windows for the xbox?
