Can a DS be used as a voice recorder?

Well, I wanted to know if you can use a DS as a voice recorder, using memory from the microSD rather than using the DS's internal memory. I have the Protien import for the DS, but you only get like 20 seconds of recording, which isn't all that great. (But still a great program.)

Yes, it's very possible.
And probably quite easy.
If I had enough time to learn to write apps, I would probably do it as a beginner's project.

DSOrganize can do it, but since it's writing to the card while it's recording, the quality is very low. In DSO's file browser, hover over any *.wav file and press Y to record.
