Apparently someone has gotten a portion (or maybe more?) of the DATA.PSP file decrypted from various firmware updates.

It seems that someone has found a way to read the files that are in the update or find them or whatnot. Once again this is a step to cracking 1.51, 1.52 and 2.0! I hope this will help out some people. Also if youi visit this site and look at some at the comments below it SOMEONE states that 2.0 has already been cracked. . . .see for yourself. . . . www.psp-hacks.com

you can find data.psp easy just put the 2.0 update into PSP brew
i couldnt read it tho bc i dont have a program and (just for the hell of it) put it into word and got 2500+ pages of just 1 line of weird text (boxes and stuff)

according to ps2dev.org this is useless information.... but then again, some of them are quite angry all the time (more so than even i).
