Yea, it's not actualy a version changer but it writes a patch over the psp telling it what version it is. That would mean if they found a way to patch this over a 1.51 psp and tell it it was a 1.50, it still wouldn't run homebrew because no firmware change has took place. It does mean however that you could make a 1.0 think it was a 2.0 and it wouldn't try to upgrade you firmware, but the game might crash because 2.0 could have new way of running, which sony could force game manufactures to use because this was realesed stupidly early enough for sony to do something about.
yea... ur rite. thats dumb to let sony see ur hand. now its just gonna get tougher.
