PSP: SNES9xTYL 0.4 source code stolen and official version released

also there was MPH's GTA UMD loader, that works, all you need is the files from the DATA.PSAR file, and you can load any 2.0 required game, like GTA...

The progress of the ME emulator is amazing I just tested it alittle and wow. As the previous poster said just some minor tweaks with the tougher games like Starfox and your flying.

Ok guys, you asked for it. This is really amazing stuff.

I hope I don't get in trouble. This is so my fellow PSPers can load their legally owned UMD's or back them up as ISO's and compress them with DAX.

This is great stuff. I was intimidated and scared by all of the loaders until I found this. This has them all built into 1 simple loader. I'm playing Lemmings, Gradius Portable, Siphon Filter, Worms, Generation of Chaos, Ys Ark of Napishtim, and much more on my 1.50 PSP. DAX Compression is amazing on some games. FULL Lemmings game compressed to just about 150MB. Full Y's Ark of Napishtim Game compressed to just a little over 400MB. I own these games but play them in ISO because LOAD TIMES are horrible in games such as Y's and Midnight Club 3.

Oh, also I should add that the NEW UMDGEN 3.01 is amazing because it has DAX Creator built in. So you can load your ISO into UMDGEN, strip it down to size if you want, then from within UMDGEN save it as a DAX ISO. I always use compression setting 9 to get maximum compression.

Nope, MPH just had the one. And he has stopped development on it and released the source. The main loaders are UMDEmulator, MPHGL, & RunUMD. RunUMD has finally been proven to NOT WRITE TO FLASH and be totally safe. I use it all the time to load games like Ys, Lemmings, etc.

What's cool about the DAX Loader is that it has every single loader BUILT IN. You select which load method you want and then select the game and you are good to go. Its also cool that you don't HAVE to compress games to DAX. It will load regular ISO's & DAXZISO's. You can also load a UMD.

Say you have a 1.50 PSP and buy the Ys Ark of Napishtim UMD. It won't load and will tell you to upgrade to 2.50. Screw that. Put the UMD in your PSP, fire up DAX Loader, select the proper RunUMD load method then have the loader load inserted UMD. You have now overcome Sony's BS firmware scam.
