it is very likely that the PS3 will be always online, which means the PS3 firmware can update itself, at night or whenever. it could also send data to sony about your PSP and block you from connectig the two without an update

least qj gets noobie spam, not us :O
and the page currently shows n64 emu :O
they're screwed with noobies forever, MHHHUUUUAAHHH

You know, if you don't want any of the consoles to update theirselves, don't connect them to the Internet. And don't set up the Wi-Fi on them either. It's as easy as that.

I think this could turn ot to be a joke and the page was actualy hacked. It just seems so unlikely that sony would jus give up like that.

I believe whoever put the link on the site didn't know what that site is about.
Or the site was cracked and modified.
Or somebody just made a mistake.
Or there is a single person inside the company who is personally homebrew-happy, and is likely to get fired tomorrow.
Or, or, or.
Seriously, chances that this is going to stay there are SO slim, don't get your hopes up. It just doesn't ... make any sense whatsoever.

Its either this or the announcement of the discontinuation of the psp. It kinda sounds like the psp is in real trouble and $ony is getting desperate.

A nd I will NEVER go online with my ps3. I do not play with other guys. only myself...you know what I mean
