I'm with wraggy on this,I'm just too scared of bricking my precious 1.5.
I'll wait for a few more revisions before doing this,eh I'm emulating 2.71 anyway so there's not much need for me to do this.
Can't wait for for the XMB replacement though :)
Bullhead:
Those sony sticks are the slowest around give it agood long while before you give up

If its the one that came with the psp how do you have room to fit all the files needed?
-
I sure hope he was talking about one larger than 32
-
no i'm pretty sure he meant the 32mb MS that comes with the psp...bullhead i hope i'm wrong
-
Well if he is using a 32mb the files are probably gonna overwrite each other.

Can someone tell me what size the DATA.DXAR should be?
-
Mine is a real (pretty sure) blue Sandisk 2 GB. It took about 3-4 minutes for me.
My DATA.DXAR is 16.7 MB (17,483,018 bytes). I did a successful flash with that file.

what are the sizes of both individual eboot's??? To be sure I've a good 2.71 (because the 1.50 eboot is working great)
-
Guide updated, find the updated guide on page 24 here.

1.50 EBOOT: 13.3 MB (13,900,225 bytes)
2.71 EBOOT: 19.2 MB (20,130,421 bytes)
I got both of them from psp-hacks.
